Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)
Sunset Smiles Dental Center is looking for a caring, energetic, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team!
We are currently seeking a hygienist to work one Friday per month. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while working in a modern, patient-centered dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance.
- Review and update medical and dental histories.
- Perform periodontal assessments and charting.
- Take digital dental radiographs as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Accurately document treatment and clinical findings in Dentrix.
- Maintain OSHA and infection control standards.
- Work closely with the doctor and team to provide an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Required).
- Minimum 2 years of hygiene experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Experience with Dentrix is a plus.
